The Arabic name for Jerusalem is “The Israelite Temple”.

Note: KDS or QDS (KaDoSh in Hebrew pronunciation) is the Semitic language root meaning holy/consecrated. Semitic roots contain only consonants. These roots are thus preserved across time and languages despite changes in pronunciation and conjugation. Thus ShaLoM became SaLaM in Arabic and SaLeM in English. ShaBaT became SabBaTh in English and SaBaTo in Spanish.
The Arabic name for Jerusalem is “al-QuDS” (The Holy). This is a shortening of the Arabic name used for Jerusalem until the last century, “bayt al-maQDeS” which is the Arabic pronunciation of the Hebrew “beyt ha-miKDaSh”, (“House of Holiness”) the name of both Israelite Temples in Jerusalem.
The Arabic name for Jerusalem isn’t an Arabic version of “Jerusalem” (City of Peace) it is instead “The Israelite Temple”!
Palestinian Arab Muslims who are raised to blindly hate Israel use the name Al Quds all the time without realizing they are affirming that Jerusalem is an Israeli city. Their own name for Jerusalem refutes all their false claims to so called “East Jerusalem” or the Temple Mount they desecrated with their Dome of the Rock Mosque. Even the rock the Mosque refers to is part of the Israelite temple. The rock is the foundation stone underlying the Holy of Holies in the Beyt Ha-mikdash and had nothing to do with Muhammad or Islam until centuries later when the Mosque was built.
Mosque-arade
Islam builds Mosques to mark “their territory”. As a manifestation of Islamic domination and expansionism, mosques have frequently been placed on the sites of the holy places of other religions. The Al-Aqsa Mosque, built on top of the Temple of the Jewish people, which is located in Jerusalem, is the most famous example. Many churches have been turned into mosques, including the Aya Sofya Mosque in Istanbul, which until the Islamic conquest of Constantinople of 1453 was the grandest church in Christendom. The Umayyad Mosque in Damascus was, before the Islamic conquest, the Church of St. John the Baptist. Historian Sita Ram Goel has estimated that over two thousand mosques in India were built on the sites of Hindu
temples.
An Israel by any other name would smell
Palestine is the Anglacized pronunciation of the name assigned to Israel by the Romans after multiple rebellions by Israel. The Romans renamed Israel after the Philistines, an ancient enemy that Israel defeated and was no longer in existence, as a way to tell Israel that they no longer exist under Roman occupation and might. Israel renamed, still remained Israel. After most of the Israelites were exiled, the land ceased to be productive. The name “Palestine” aptly remained until the Israelites by the sweat of their brow restored the Land in the 19th and 20th Century.
The notion of a false “Palestinian” people was invented by Yasser Arafat after the 1967 defensive war by Israel that liberated Judea and Samaria (referred to as the “West Bank” of the Jordan River) from Jordan’s brutal 19 year occupation of the territories wrested from Israel in the war of 1948. The Palestinian Arab state was established as TransJordan. Even the name tells you that only the territory across (trans) the Jordan River and not the west bank of the Jordan river was assigned to the Palestinian Arabs.
Arafat’s Palestinian Liberation Organization. (Liberation from Jordan, that is), the PLO was originally established to fight Jordan not Israel. Jordan massacred 10,000 people to end the PLO and exiled Arafat. Everything you hear in the media and have accepted as truth was fabricated as a way to get himself back into power in what was now Israel. World pressure due to his media propaganda campaign forced Israel to do just that.
In July 1988, King Hussein of Jordan relinquished all claims to Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) back to Israel and yet the world still refers to it as occupied territory.
