I was not a career woman nor a housewife, I have been/am a mom, this has been my job/career/occupation and passion and full tie position. No, it is not a high sounding title. But it is one of the most demanding occupations in human relationships and child psychology. Motherhood, what a glorious career. No. it is not mandatory to become one but it should be mandatory to be respected as one had you decided that, and not being looked down as if it were a disease !!, on the other hand it is a rather short career and you get no pensia,h no payment at all and have to spend the rest of your healthy/useful years wondering what to do and how to live on. Very few countries pay the housewife pension, Argentina is one, should have researched which other country does. Maybe what's wrong with being only a mom is precisely the fact that you need to be prepared for the future and you can't remain a full time mom, just a part time mom would have been wiser. Part time mom is still a decent job, full time mom is just going back to the middle ages. An extinct breed of women, women who only exist in museums, nut cases in home centers.
